BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
Several new board members were elected at the Annual Meeting.
-
Nancy Devenport is a Speech Language Pathologist who has a special
interest in autism.
-
Erlene Hobble is a receptionist, secretary, and supply clerk with
special interests which include working with the elderly and special needs
people.
-
Janelle Miller is the Assistant Technology Coordinator of USD #253
and has many years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
-
Kim York is a provider of Supportive Home Care who enjoys helping
others.
-
Karen Frye is the director of the Kansas Resource Center on Autism
at Emporia State University. She was appointed to fill the unexpired
term of Allison Cumming-McCann, who resigned from the board due to accepting
a faculty position in another location.

COUNCIL OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS
New members are needed to serve on the Council of Community Members.
This is a committee that meets quarterly and makes suggestions and recommendations
to the Board of Directors of Hetlinger concerning services in the area.
The committee is also responsible for dispute resolution procedures regarding
service provision in the area.
