Meet Our Staff

Executive Director -- Trudy Hutchinson
Trudy began as the Executive Director of Hetlinger Developmental Services in January 1995. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the agency and working with persons within and outside the agency to ensure the success of Hetlinger, its consumers, and its mission. She works closely with our Board of Directors in an effort to further the goals of the agency and to plan for its future. Director of Individual Supports -- Lynette Oglesby
Lynette worked in several capacities at Hetlinger Developmental Services before beginning her position as Director of Individual Supports. She is responsible for all direct supports provided to the consumers, including all work services and the Alternative Choice program. Other duties include securing workshop contracts and community placements, both individual and enclave groups. CDDO Administration -- Connie Zabel

Connie is responsible for CDDO administrative activities of intake, eligibility determination, affiliating with community service providers, dispute resolution, quality assurance and enhancement, waiting list management, and Council of Community members.  Contact Connie if you wish to inquire about receiving services.

Service Coordinators -- Lisa Decker and Sara Pearson
Sara and Lisa provide service coordination for consumers and their guardians/families to assist them in obtaining and maintaining needed services, supports, and funding. Some duties they have include assessment of needed supports and services, support planning, coordination of services (such as medical and financial), advocacy, and assisting with life transitions and portability of services. They are also available to assist consumers with any concerns that arise.
          Staff Training -- Sandra Robinson

          As the Hetlinger Staff Trainer, Sandra is responsible for training the staff which is required
          for licensing by the State of Kansas.

         Financial Manager -- Jan Plunkett

         Jan Plunkett comes to Hetlinger from the banking industry.  Jan is responsible for
         overseeing the financial matters of the agency.

         Office Secretary -- Beverly Gilligan

         The office secretary is responsible for many different aspects of the day-to-day office
         management at Hetlinger.  Bev handles reception as well as a variety of bookkeeping tasks.

         Administrative Assistant -- Taime Pitchford

        The Administrative Assistant is responsible for general agency supports and assisting the Executive Director in all areas
         as requested.

        Maintenance Specialist -- Frank Ortega & Ray Woods

        Frank and Ray maintain the grounds at Hetlinger and oversee the upkeep of the facilities.

        Direct Support Staff

        Direct Support Staff, as the title indicates, provides direct support to our consumers  in the Sheltered Workshop,
        Supported Employment,  and the Alternative Choice Program.
