The Emporia area, located midway between Topeka and Wichita on the Kansas Turnpike I-335, is an important crossroads and trade area for the east central Kansas population of approximately 85,000 people. The amount of truck traffic generated from Emporia’s manufacturing community provides a competitive advantage on in-bound freight. The amount of heavy commercial traffic is only second to the Kansas City metropolitan area. |
