National Teachers Hall of Fame
There is only one National Teachers Hall of Fame and it is in Emporia, Kansas. Proudly recognizes and honors K-12 teachers. Interesting, inspiring exhibits.

Emporia Zoo
The Emporia Zoo was founded in 1934 and today is the smallest accredited zoo in the country. 80 species represented. Exceptional botanical displays.

Lyon County Historical Museum
Lyon County Historical Museum is one of many Emporia sites on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum has rotating thematic exhibits and a gift gallery that specializes in items made by Kansans.

Prairie Passage
Our newest, most dramatic attraction. Eight huge limestone sculptures present a variety of images about our land and its people.

All Veterans Memorial
This special memorial was the first in the country to be dedicated to veterans of all wars, including the Persian Gulf War.

Cookie Jar Heaven
Collections of over 2,000 cookie jars and 300 buttonhooks, located in a home near downtown.

Emporia Arts Center
Home to Emporia Arts Council and Community Theatre of Emporia. Includes art gallery.
